Garnfest Porvoo returns this June! Join us for a relaxed summer day of knitting, hand-dyed yarns, indie makers and Knit in Public celebrations in the heart of Porvoo.
Welcome to celebrate Knit in Public Day at Garnfest Porvoo!
This June, Porvoo’s charming Empire district will once again fill with beautiful yarns, knitting and creative inspiration as Garnfest Porvoo returns on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The event takes place at the historic Old Deaf School gymnasium and the courtyard of Säie Wool in the heart of Porvoo. Expect hand-dyed yarns, small-scale spinning mills, inspiring makers and a warm community atmosphere.
Alongside the main event area, you’ll also find several satellite locations around central Porvoo, making it easy to combine yarn shopping with a summer day exploring the town.
Coffee, pastries and sweet treats will once again be served by the beloved Pullabiili by Patisserie Teemu Aura, and weather permitting, the popular Vanhan Porvoon Jäätelötehdas ice cream bike will also be joining us.
