Marianne’s Mohair

Marianne’s Mohair brings beautiful South African mohair yarns to the Nordic countries, continuing the story that begins at Adele’s Mohair farm in Port Elizabeth.

Founded in 1983, the farm produces small-batch mohair yarns while employing local women from the Xhosa community. Respect for people, craftsmanship and natural resources forms the heart of the business.

The yarns themselves are soft, luxurious and full of warmth — carrying with them both beautiful colours and a meaningful story.
