Säie Wool

Based in Porvoo, Säie Wool is known for its hand-dyed yarns, carefully curated colour palettes and warm, welcoming atmosphere. In the small dye studio, yarns are created with the hope that they will continue inspiring knitters for years to come — both through colour and texture.

The collection includes a variety of yarn bases ranging from airy mohair blends to soft merinos and more rustic Finnish wool yarns. Säie Wool’s colour world often leans towards soft muted shades, nature-inspired tones and the occasional playful twist.

Säie Wool’s founder and dyer, Eija Ericsson, is also the organiser behind Garnfest Porvoo. The event was born from a desire to create a warm and welcoming gathering place around indie yarns, knitting and community — right in the heart of summer-time Porvoo.
