This online store is operated by Yarn Studio Säie Wool Ltd (Business-ID 3240019-9).

The online store sells products to individual adults as well as companies. Product prices include Finnish 24% VAT, which is deducted if sold outside the European Union. Please note that any taxes or duties charged upon delivery outside the EU are responsibility of the recipient.

We reserve the right to make changes to prices or delivery costs.

Ordering

You can place an order in our online store by adding products to the shopping cart and proceeding to the check out. If you are ordering from outside the European Union choosing your country at the cart or checkout will show the prices without VAT.

The items in your shopping cart are effectively reserved for you only after completing your order. After completing your order by checking out and paying, you will receive an order confirmation email to the email address given in the order form. You should check that the details in this order confirmation are correct, and keep a copy of it.

You will receive a confirmation of shipping via email once your order has been shipped.

All customer information is handled with confidentality. Contact information requested during the ordering process are not used for any purpose other than order fulfillment or contacting the customer about any issues with the order. Upon placing an order you are expected to familiarize yourself and accept the current terms and conditions.

Payment methods

The products and applicable shipping cost will be paid when placing an order. Payments are made using PayPal and Paytrail. Both of these services has several payments options available, which are presented during the checkout process.

PayPal

PayPal is a leading online payment service, that allows you to pay easily and securely from your PayPal account or credit card connected to your account. PayPal supports a large number of credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club.

By providing information at the checkout, you accept the terms and conditions of PayPal Inc.

Paytrail

By Paytrail payment service you can pay with an invoice as well as with a card or bank payment. The following payment methods are accepted when using Paytrail: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Finnish online banks, MobilePay, Pivo, Walley, Joustoraha and OP-lasku.

Paytrail Plc acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution in Finland. Paytrail will be shown as the recepient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail will forward your payment to the merchant. Payments are made through a secure SSL environment, so that the payment process is absolutely safe and secure.

Online banking:

You can pay with any of the online Finnish banks: Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, POP Bank, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken. Paytrail will appear on your statement as the payee and it will forward your payment to Säie Wool. From the online store, you will be redirected to your own bank to make a payment securely.

Cards:

You can pay online with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit and American Express cards. The online store uses international authentication services Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey.

Paytrail appears as the payee on the card statement and forwards the card payment paid by the consumer directly to the merchant. Card payments are made securely using a secure payment form, and card information is not stored in e-commerce systems.

Mobile payments:

Mobile payment applications Pivo, MobilePay and Siirto enable you to pay for online purchases by online bank transfer or card payment by accepting the payment in the application.

Pivo also accepts Siirto payments, so the payment can be accepted in any application that supports Siirto. Apple Pay is a digital wallet that works on all Apple devices allowing you to pay for purchases using saved card information.

Buy now, pay later services through Paytrail are provided by OP, Walley, and Jousto.

Order confirmation

Once we have received your order, we will send you an email order confirmation with a summary of your order information. Always check the content of the order confirmation. If you have any questions, consult our customer service immediately. Keep the order confirmation in case you need to contact customer service. Please have your customer number (if any) and order number handy when contacting customer service. Always check the delivered products to make sure they match the order confirmation.

Shipping methods & costs

Delivery costs include postage and packaging costs. The costs of the selected delivery method are automatically added to the order total. You can see the shipping costs charged for your order in your shopping cart before you accept the order.

International orders:

All international orders are sent with UPS Standard, UPS Expidated of UPS Express Saver which provides a fast, trackable and reliable delivery. Depending on your location your order and the chosen shipping method your package will arrive within 1–8 business days after we have packed and shipped it.

Customs forms are filled out in accordance with Finnish and international law to accurately reflect value and contents of the package. All international customers are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees, customs clearance charges, etc. required by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand, and cannot give you an estimate of the cost – charges vary around the world.

If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment and return costs. Also if the order cannot be shipped because of your country’s customs policy and therefore returned, we will not refund you the costs for shipping and returning the parcel.

This said, we do reserve the right to withhold delivery to any particular place or location at our sole discretion.

Due to BREXIT, UK orders are disabled on the online store at the moment. If you wish to place an order, please note that you need to do it by email at hello@saiewool.fi and the order total has to be over £135 – approximately 160 € (excluding VAT). We are sorry for the inconvenience.

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling any of our obligations under a contract caused by events outside our reasonable control (”Force majeure”).

Add to an existing order

You can add a product or products to your previous order until you receive the shipping confirmation email. In this case, select ‘Add product/s to an existing order: 0 €’ as the shipping method at checkout and enter the number of your original order in the comments field.

As a general rule, we pack orders on weekdays, so please check your email when you place an additional order to see if your original order has already been delivered.

Pre-orders

If your order includes pre-order items, we will process the order right after we have received it and reserve any other items you may have ordered. The order will wait for shipment until all ordered products are in stock.

Delivery time

We will deliver your order as soon as possible! All orders will be dispatched only after confirmed payment. We aim to dispatch orders as soon as possible in the order in which they are placed. The orders are processed usually within 1-2 business day (often the same day) if all products are in stock and unless otherwise agreed. Delivery times are an estimate and not a guarantee. Campaigns, weekends, holidays and shipping delays due to the carrier may affect delivery time.

We are not responsible for delays caused by force majeure or indirect harm caused by delays.

Cancellation and returns

European Union: In the EU you have the right to cancel your purchases made online within 14 days after you received your goods for a full refund. You can cancel your purchase without giving any reason. You must inform us about cancelling your order with a written statement by email (hello@saiewool.fi), and send the goods back within 14 days of informing us about the cancellation.

Other countries: You may cancel your order right after you have placed it, but we do not accept purchase cancellations after having shipped your order.

Please note that we can only accept returns of unused items with their original packaging and product tags. Downloadable products do not have the right of exchange or return.

The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Please arrange for the parcel to be sent back via a carrier of your choice. Please save a receipt or proof of postage, as Säie Wool cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit.

When the returned goods has arrived, we will refund the items within 2-3 working days. Please note that the shipping costs are not refunded.

Please note that failing to accept a delivery does not constitute a return or withdrawal. If you fail to pick up your package and want us to ship it again we will charge new shipping costs and an additional billing charge of 3,90 €. You have an option to cancel the order, but we will not refund the shipping cost.

Problems with delivery

If your order has been damaged or lost during shipping or it fails to meet your expectations in any other way, you must inform us of this in writing within 14 days using the contact details listed above. If the parcel is visibly damaged during transit, you must make a claim with the delivery company immediately.
